Abilify medicine

Im bipolar and Im on Seroquel and Im looking to change to Abilify. But, I talked to my psychiatrist and it has side effects of extreme weight gain. It also has side effects of twitching (im experiencing that with seroquel right now) its painful. really painful.

when you first take any drug, its going to make you feel different. Not like youre high different, but just different. For me, I could feel the change in my brain. Your doc said you should take it in the morning right? youll feel a slight difference in how you think. Yes, I said youll feel it. Its different. Because its a drug. Its altering your brain chemistry. Over 3 or 4 weeks youll notice more changes in how you feel and how you act. And since Abilify is a mood stabilizer, not just for depression…it will make your happiness change as well. Theyll tell you im full of crap but trust a girl whos been on seroquel for years (its just like abilify. theyre both a-typical antipsychotics) The way you feel happy will change. It wont be the same. But thats not for everyone. I would suggest keeping a diary of how you feel. If you have any more questions, just ask!
