Can a teenager quit school for a few months?

my niece is 16 years old, her father and her mother are having aDCFS despute.Her mother lives in Round Lkae,ill, and her father lives here in chicago, She wants tio know if she could quit school in chicago, then after a few months, go back? Can she do that ?

Ye, she can, because she’s 16 in some places she wouldn’t need parental consent. But here you can get a parent to pull you out of school for a year and stuff
