a letter for him

how long does it take (this question is mostly for the people that have friends or loved ones in afghanistan.) for a letter from the US. to get to your loved one in afghanistan or the other way around??

it can take up to a month, depending on the situation.

I believe that it would recieve priority delivery because it is a serviceman- I do not know the length of time it would take.

going through the U.S.O. would be a sure bet.

the postal service would most likely get it there pretty quickly too- I would assume that they would use military aircraft to get the mail there. there should be a weekly resupply to that area of the globe. best bet- send the letter and keep track of how long it took.

Honestly I cant say for sure with afghanistan, but my husband was in the military and when he first left, I didnt see my first letter til like 3 weeks later and also his first phone call was literly was for 30 seconds no joke. but even after the letters started coming, I only would recieve one letter per week every thursday. Also thats with him still in the US. I wish I could tell you more…

it depends where you send the letters.but most probably a letter when send to the postal office will take for like a 2 weeks to 3.while special shipment like UPS would only take for like a day or a week.depends on what type of shipment you want to choose, and that would cost you much.
