It isnt bad but maybe a bit more would be reasonable ? 4-year-olds are kinda hard work too haha.

Answer #8

It is not a Good wage and employment like this is illegal under current UK employment laws…So i suspect you are obviously not paying Tax or national insurance like every one else???? like you should and by law have to,just like every other law abideing decent citazon of this wonderfull country has to ….or is it a dirty, keep it quiet ,rob the system and the rest of society… cash in hand ?…on top of your benerfits thing?….If i am wrong then you have rights and can claim from your slave driver employer for minimum wage and get it back dated…but hey,8 hours for 20 nicker aint gonna be legal is it now?

Answer #9

Wonderful country? Really, I live in the UK and it is so far from wonderful.

Answer #10

NOOOOOOOOOOO

Answer #11

round these parts its not only wonderful its …fantastic too lol… and rather pleasent.

Answer #12

Lucky for you then.

Answer #13

It’s about 32 bucks USD, meaning four dollars an hour. In the US, minimum wage is around 7 dollars, or four and a half pounds, to give you an idea. Then again, you’re most likely working under the table, the way most babysitting jobs are, and it’s not really that bad of a deal if it’s a good kid.

Answer #14

It`s not luck hun…its simply me being a tw@t.

Answer #15

Yeah I kind of got that.

Answer #16

i guess its ok , if you’re not comfortable with the amount you should talk to them .

Answer #17

where u from

Answer #18

i dont mean to be mean, but that is not enough for 4 houers for a 4 year old that has a kit of energy im sure i would say about 7 dollars an houer

Answer #19

I don’t know for the UK, but yes that amount would be illegal as an official employment job, but not as a side job. Here at least, the government doesn’t charge taxes for money that is not from employment. I may be mistaken, but I believe it is like that in the UK too. Or does the government there charge for allowance, or a job such as mowing the lawn for a neighbor? Then I would never lend money to a friend, because as of what you said, I would have to pay for taxes I don’t think that constitutes. It is clear that babysitting is not an official occupation, unless, of course, it is an official business.
