What does it feel like not being depressed?

Ok, so I know this is a really weird question, but I’ve been struggling with anxiety and depression all my life, for the past 6 months I’ve been on proper treatment for it and for the first time in my life I feel different, but I’m not sure if it’s normal. Basically I don’t have much anxiety any more and I haven’t had a suicidal thought in a long while. Also I feel like stuff doesn’t bother me much. It this how people who don’t have depression feel?

Can anyone who doesn’t have this illness describe to me how they feel on a daily basis and deal with problems?

When i get a problem i think of how to tackle it and if i can’t i either ask close friends or family or i let it go out of my mind. I do ask friends and family alot so thats good for me but some people arent close to either so that could be hard. Not being depressed is a good feeling, you feel up and ready for anything really. im glad you are getting better with your illness, and i hope you feel free and happy asap :) keep smiling!

I am always depressed but normally little stupid things.. I just go to my garage and play darts, scream into a pillow or do something stupid.. Go into my garden and swear at.. Well nothing I just scream until I can’t anymore.. It helps me, I’m not sure if it would help you or not? =)

anyone with out an illness will always go through the basic emotions, happy, sad and angry but most of the time they will be happy. its never easy dealing with problems unless they are only minor the best way i deal with my problems is by either talking to my partner or friends and working out what trigged the problem and fixing it before it gets too big.
