If I got my period early should I skip the sugar pills or take them anyway?

My birth control is Levelin (or however you spell it) and I got my period 5 days early for some reason. It looks like I’m going to finish it right as I’m meant to start it so shuold I skip the sugar pills and start a new pack or continue with the sugar pills. I’m just worried that continuing them will muck things up and I’ll either have my period for all of that time too, or it will come twice early next month.. I’m not sure. ????

Continue taking your pills. If you’re new to birth control then your period could get funny. Don’t skip your pills.

Its fine to skip the sugar pills. You can actually skip them every month to skip your period. If you go straight to the next active pills, the advantage is you can feel more confident that your contraception is actually going to work.

You should take them to keep yourself on a routine. It’s easier to forget to take your pills if you don’t take them every day.

afaik it does not really make a difference just be sure to not skip the hormone pills or forget to take them

It’s really strange because I’ve been on the same pills for years and have never had any mishaps.

You shouldn’t skip your sugar pills because,your body needs a break to filter out the build up around your uterus,and skipping sugar pills can make you forget to take your pills,so your best bet is to take them,you often times spot while on birthcontrol its not a big deal,just take your pills normally and start a new pack when you are suppose to :)
