A) Inspiration B) Hope C) Eternity D) The unknown
Ever notice all the parallels between the story of Pandora's Box and Eve's Tree of Knowledge?
Pandora was the first woman created by the Greek Gods. Eve was the first woman in Judeo-Christian-Islam. Pandora was a gift to Epimepheus, Eve was a gift to Adam. Pandora released evil on the world when she opened the Jar. Eve brought sin into the world when she ate from the Tree of Knowledge and convinced Adam to do the same.
This is so simple a monkey with an IQ of 200 can answer.
It's B, the hope. Because wasn't Pandora's Box the containment of all evil in the world? So the only thing left inside after it was opened was hope that evil would return or something stupid like that...
Yep, we woman have been getting a bad rap since the beginning of time or at least when storytelling was invented...my guess would be, it all started with a man...:)
The answer is B) Hope - 5 points to everybody (including Tammy, who didn't resort to Google to find the answer!) :)
Umm ... I'm not accusing everyone here of using Google - please don't misunderstand me, lol
I saw a bumper sticker years ago that said:
"Eve was framed!"
Google the modern day "Pandora's Box"....Or is it FB ? :)
Ahhh man now I feel pretty stupid :-/
I want one...LOL
