Well betts is right, in a way. The only way someone can feel pain and control the other body parts, is if the nerves attached to that organ are connected to a spinal cord which then the nerve receptors gets the message. So unless nerves cross through the other person's body into their own spinal cord, they won't feel the pain or will not be able to control that body part. It is not rare that they share the same nerves, since the nervous system is very big and spread throughout the bodies.
I dont know for certain, but I would imagine in some cases they could. Because they may share peripheral nerves, pain information may travel to the other twins brain. Also the pain pathways in the body are not the most specific. Think of heart burn - the pain is occuring in the stomach, but you feel it in chest. Nerve fibres are intermingled even in our own bodied, so if you are attached to someone else its probably even more confused!
I would say not because they each have control of different body parts so if one of them burnt their hand then that one would feel it but not the other one because of the twin that burnt their self their nerves sent a so called
"ow" signal to their brain and not the twins so it would only hurt the one not the other.
I think not. If each of them have two different brains then they would be sent separately. But there is a chance that it could get sent to both, considering the section that they are joined.
whoa, :O that's a real brain f**k right there lol. but probably since their nerves are connected...well in some cases...wow i really dont know lol. still a cool observation though
No I doubt it because I've heard of some snakes that are born with two heads in which one head killed the other, I think I saw it on animal planet or nat geo.
That was a good answer! I never thought of that haha, but do they share nerves? :S
Isn't pain in the mind? So if they have separate brains they shouldnt?
