In school, did/do you focus more on study and work, or friends and social life?

Answer #1

I like to make them equal. I work hard during school, come home, do my homework, then I’ll go on facebook or funadvice and chat with my friends. I also try to talk to as many people as I can before class starts and during lunch. And of course most weekends are for friends:D

Answer #2

Friends and social life

Answer #3

I currently have time to squeeze my social life in with my education. I focus more on my work and academics. I try to do my best on work, while secretly talking with someone via text etc. I get my work done even if its a day late, and i’m still doing it at 2am or 3am.

Answer #8

I always focused/ focus on my education- that’s the most important thing to me. I’m at college atm and the friends that i’ve made there are great and we’re always laughing but when it comes down to it, my education means everything to me. If you don’t have that you don’t have much. Friends come and go throughout life, and you’re lucky if you find true friends that stick by you through everything and that you have known all your life. If you’re prepared to learn, then you will always have your education and knowledge no matter what. Of course, i always leave a couple of days in the week for my social life and to do all the things i want or to just chill- life needs to be fun too.

Answer #9

I’ve focused on school primarily, when your paying hundreds and hundreds for classes failing because you blew off school for friends is not worth it.

Answer #10

I day dreamed in school and worried about the others

Answer #11

At school, social definately. The education side of things came naturally so I didnt spend a lot of time on it. Which made things difficult when I got to uni and realised I actually didnt know how to study… At uni I definately put more focus on my education, though I dont neglect the social side of things too much.

Answer #12

It is important to stay focused when it comes to school and work, but I also think that it is a good idea to make sure you have time for some social activities so you are not overwhelmed with stress.

Answer #13

I’m a big nerd. I focus a lot on my school work. Of course, I don’t ignore my friends. I go out with them and hang out with them for a while after school. But if I had to compare, it’d be about 70% school and 30% social/friends. Don’t get me wrong. I’d choose friends over school any day.

Answer #14

Definetely focused more on friends & social life. That was like my whole reason for the excitement & enjoyment in school. Although education is important.
