For normal day to day use, yes. It’s pretty good. I’d say that anything 5mbps and over generally is.

Well a full t-1 is only 1.5 and back in the day I felt good if I had 56K so yes it is fine, I have 18 MB and I have no clue why, all I do in read offline, I could do this on dial up with no trouble.

I remember when I could sit there and watch a pic load line by line, now people get mad when their HD movie may hang when they are watching it online.

uhm yeah its very good…. minimum DL should be about 1mb/s upload around 512 kb/s great for anything unless you wanna become a server :O

10 mbs up and down would be great for a website, what to you plan to host where you would need more than this, do you want your own video hosting company?

pretty much what id have said…

i need faster up speed though and virgin 10mb only offers i think 1mb up.

im on 50mb down and 5mb up cus im a gamer.

I would be happen with 1.5 up and down, but I am a reader, and text does not take much to load, I do host a few web pages, but they are also mostly text and load fine.

i got MTS its has max speed of 3.1mb but never works .. do check before for trial if it gives you spped they give…
