I want my mom to see me get married

Okay...so lately, my mom has been a bit sad b/c of financial reasons. I know others may have it worse but she cant work b/c of her medical issues and what not. She also seems to believe that she wont be around long enought to see my sister and I get...

married, graudate college, etc. I know she will be around to see us graduate. I dont need her to leave me now. Anyway...I have a feeling that I will never get married and I want to sooo bad and stuff and I want my mom to see it but I also think that it'll be when she is 100 years old before I get married (she is 55 now). so I was thinking about staging a wedding so she can see me get married and I can get to be in one. it doesnt have to be a legal wedding where you have to get a licence and stuff and I could post an ad on the computer on a well know site. there in itself presents a problem: people will be too old or wierd and stuff. (sigh) just tell me what you think and dont be soo mean about. Thx

Does your mom want you to do this? If it will make her happy then I say full speed ahead. But if she doesn't want this for you then you need to respect her wishes and try to make her as happy as possible.

I agree wit the person up above me, does she want you to do this? think bout it a stage wedding wont be as special as the real thing, so it be like youre doing it in vain, I understand that you want your mom be able to see you, if it wil make her happy for a stage one, then make her happy however like I said, it wont have the same meaning as a real one

if you want to get married get married!!! video tape it for your mom if she seriouslt can't make it.. why cant she make it?

its not like she cant make it or anything. she's not ill now she just has heart probs that are under controll and she is fine right now. she thinks she wont be around to see me get married as in she will be like old (like 95) and in heaven and who knows if I will ever get married for obvious reasons like finding the right person if people are ever interested in me. I thank yall bunches for answering the question.
