Can you audition on americanidol.com?

Can anyone that wants to audition at American Idol do that at http://www.americanidol.com ? Where can I find info on how to get on the show?

You actually cannot register someone for the show on their website. Every season, the website will list different audition cities. For each city, there is a registration day and an audition day. On the registration day, your friend should show up at the location with two forms of ID in order to get a registration packet. Then he/she can go to the audition for that city, and hopefully make it to Hollywood.
