How to remove a thumbdrive virus?

how to remove this write protected virus from my thumbdrive? can somebody help me?

It may have a read only attribute. Insert it in your computer. Go to START, then MY COMPUTER and find your thumb drive there. Right clidk on it and then clidk properties and uncheck the read only attribute.
