No not at all In some ways we are fixing the problems we have made like green house gases and new kinds of fuel But if your taking about a commit hitting earth ... hay its happened in the past could happen again I mean look what happened to the dino's

It gets closer every day! (Just being facetious). But more seriously, your world will come to an end the day you check out.

The world could end on any given day due to natural disaster or man-made war. However, I do not believe that any supernatural cause will destroy the planet.

At some point in time it will end.

The Bible clearly indicates there will be a new Heaven and a new Earth:

Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Rev 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

Yup, I agree with rnealw... and plus I feel the human race is ending it more rapidly.

yes I believe it sooner than we think. because if you read revulation in the bible it talks about all the stuff that will be happening and everything is happeing like it says its going to and churches thats all the preachers talk about. I really be leave its near.
all we can do is hope that we are ready.

The bible says that evil will end, and that everything will be made new, it gives us things to look for, signs, that tell us that it is near, and it tells us to always be ready, as we do not know when that day will come. It is most wonderful to know that God will readily accept us and care for us, if we seek him, and are willing to follow his guidelines. He has the power to carry us thru what ever we may face, but we must call out to him, and learn of him, what he wants and desires for us, and how we are to prepare ourselves for the future. He has put the answers in to his book, the Holy Bible, it tells us what to do and what to expect. The main question that we need to concern ourselves with is :

IF JESUS COMES TONIGHT FOR ME, WILL I BE READY TO FACE HIM?

CAN I GIVE AN ACCOUNT OF MY LIFE THAT WILL BE PLEASING TO HIM?

WILL HE SAY, WELL DONE GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT, ENTER INTO WHAT I HAVE PREPARED FOR YOU...

OR DEPART FROM ME, YE WORKERS OF INIQUITY, I NEVER KNEW YOU.

These are the answers that we will hear, it will be one or the other, and the decision is ours... today is the day of salvation.. harden not your hearts... agree with him quickly, while there is still time, enter into his sheepfold, he says that whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved...

He is looking for those to worship him in spirit and in truth, he is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart... So, with him, it will do not good to think one thing and do another... He will not be fooled. He knows those who are his.

Obviously it gets closer to ending every day but not in the this lifetime I dont think/

could be before you finishes reading this and it cold be in a few million years.Who knows.

I hope the world ends soon. I really hope so.

But, if there IS a god, I'm screwed... ahhh whatever, Heaven doesn't want me Hell's afraid I'll take over.
