What do you really think happened in Roswell in 1947, it was a long time ago, but I've always been intrigued by that, will we ever know the truth

I doubt it...

If there WAS an 'alien' encounter, and the government DID cover it up; they did so because mankind as a whole, probably couldn't handle the idea of REAL aliens. I think the cultural and religious backlash would be astronomical, even today...

I believe there really was a spaceship and aliens. I doubt that we will ever know for sure.

Highly unlikely there was an alien encounter as Roswell. Much more likely the crash involved top secret government research projects that were misunderstood and misinterpreted as being aliens. We know Area-51 exists, and we know the government has extremely advanced research taking place there. This is no mystery.
