Why wouldn't my parents allow me to get facial piercings?

Hi, I’m almost 18 and my parents don’t allow me to get as much done as you’ve got. I had to beg and grovel for a year to get my 2nd lobe holes. Thankfully I’m of age now and I don’t need their permission. But damn… I’d be happy if I were you.

There may be many reasons as to why they won’t allow you to get them. If you really wanna know it’d be best to ASK them. The tongue most people think is high risk, maybe thats why?

Don’t forget though your 13. Your young your mind may change, and your body is still growing. Give it time. If they don’t allow it they don’t allow it. Best thing you can do it act mature in the situation and accept it. If you do they may actually allow in since your acting grown up. Or you may have to wait it out till your legal like I did. Either way it’s no big deal. =]

I think that, they care about you and don’t want to let you ruin your thounge, because you are under some impression that it cool. Trust me it’s ugly. And just because your friends or, so called, cool people are doing it doesn’t mean that you should.

 If you really think it's pretty and you are doing it because you like it and not to show of in front of your friends as soon as possible, you should have no problem waiting a couple of years when you will be able to do it legally, or they wont be able to argument a mature decision, that involves you realizing that this could scar your body for life, or even the way other people see you. (not necessarily  in a bad way)

So I suggest you wait, you might even change your mind. =) gl

my opinion on face piercings is that their ugly…
