Why we worry about god?

You really should make reference to whom or what you’re quoting…

It’s a way to make people feel more important that they really are…

That isn’t the PURPOSE… but it is INDEED a prominent side-effect.

Because he created us…gave us life…an earth to live on,food to eat,a family to enjoy,everything that we have in this world today wouldn’t be possible if it wasn’t for god…and we fear of doing anything we know that can displease god not because of what he can do…we fear him because we love him…

because religious organisations use it to ‘control’ people…

I ask how any one can believe in something they fear? you should believe in something because it means you live in hope, not live through fear…

lol, no one who doesnt believe is worried… so not sure what unbelievers you are talking about…

It would be like being worried about the boogie man… only those who believe are worried…

I don’t worry about God because I already know He loves me.

For the unbeliever, the fear of God is to fear the judgment of God and eternal death, which is eternal separation from God (Luke 12:5; Hebrews 10:31). For the believer, the fear of God is something much different. The believer’s fear is reverence of God. Hebrews 12:28-29 is a good description of this, “Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe; for our God is a consuming fire.” This reverence and awe is exactly what the fear of God means for Christians. This is the motivating factor for us to surrender to the Creator of the Universe.

People have no life and need a false figure to occupy them..

We worry because we do not know. If you will truly seek God, you can know, and you can rest your fears. You will come to find out, that God is on your side, that he loves you more than you can ever know, that he has laid out a perfect plan for your life, and that he is waiting to help you to be obedient to that plan, and to experience a wonderful life, lived with him, as the center.

Please… find out the truth. And don’t worry.

I’m certainly not worried about any gods. I suppose people who believe in them do though.
