Why is there so much personal prejudice?

My cat, Dopey Asked by kittyluck 11 months ago, 11 answers.

This is the 22nd century. Get over it. Barrack Obama is our president. He isn't Muslim and he isn't going to cause a holocaust. I wasn't rooting for him, I prefered John McCain. But by the looks of it, there are way to many people in this world with...

their head in the damn gutter. I don't think America has changed one bit, you people out there who have something against Obama's beliefs... Get used it, he's our president. There is no way around it.

There isn't that much PREJUDICE in this country any more we just don't like his policies. I have no problem with voteing for a black man or women just not that black man. He is putting my grand children's finances in the tank! He is trying to make this country into something like Europe. The only people who like socialism are the people who don't get an education and a job or the rich who will get special perks because they will control things. We the people want our country back.

tseirpeht, your ignorance is overwhleming...

You are the one who is prejudice, we are against obama on policy not race.

we? Are you speaking for all McCain voters? You can say without a shadow of a doubt that no McCain voters chose him because Obama is black?

You elected him on race, how can I prove it? Easy, throughout the primary election it was based on who had it hardest, women or blacks.

And that is supposed to be proof? So where is your proof that the election was solely based on who had it harder? tseirpeht, you make some of the most ridiculous accusations and assertions on this site.

Can you name his policys? No you cant,

Did you really expect an answer while you were typing the post? Is this your way of debating? Ask a question, and then just assume no one will have an answer?

you know why? Because Obama hasnt mentioned them.

Then you aren't listening. Have you even attempted to find out anything about his policies?

I wasnt for Obama either, but I feel the same way. He is going to be our president come January, and everyone is just going to have to accept that. He has actually come out as saying that he is a firm Christian, but that he was raised muslim, and that he has a strong stand about the separation of church and state.
I honestly think that he is going to be good for this country, and I'm actually glad that he won.
Haha, and apparently more Americans wanted the black president more than the white one, which I think shows a sign of at least a little maturity.

lol, I was wondering who would notice that...

Anyway, all of those arguments about Obama-that he doesn't salute the flag, he's Muslim, he's a commie, he supports infanticide, he hangs out with terrorists, he's not a US citizen, blah blah blah-they are all what we call smear. See, some people are too lazy and stupid to argue the merits of Obama's proposals. So they come up with extremely imbecilic stories to make him look like pure evil. Other lazy, stupid people hear these stories, and lacking critical thinking and research skills, believe them...then spread them. Now you have an army of morons spreading lies.

Are there good reasons to oppose some of Obama's ideas? Sure there are. But those take time to think about and study, and it's just so much easier to make up stories about how the guy is the anti-Christ.

LOL I find the whole abama thing hilarious. the truth of the matter is that obama is in no way different than any other political leader you ve had for as long as I can remember. hes completely right wing and controlled by whoever pulls his strings (very similar circumstances to tony blair and the british labour party. including promises of change). look at who funded both abama's and mccains campaigns. its the same corporations!
the fact of the matter is that democracy doesnt work as it stands right now in a monetary system, where money truly does rule all. americans had a real ray of light and his name was ron paul. by no means a flawless man, but he was for the people, not the corporations. but its not the fault of the people, not completely. were all trained at an early age to be ignorant of the truth... something that I hope changes in my lifetime

do some research on the monetary system. checking out ellen browns stuff is a good place to start if you really want to know how the western and soon to be whole world works

*OOPS 21st century,

Well,
I clearly don't care. Didn't understand the point? There are people out there who think just because Barrack Obama is PRO-CHOICE, he is going to cause a holocaust. Isn't that Personal Prejudice? Obviously, the question was misunderstood, right ? Oh yeah.
