Why is my cat just staring at the wall?
We just had our 6 month cat neutered the other day. Now he just sits in front of the wall or door staring. We pick him up to pet him but he just goes back to the wall and stars at it. Why? He never was like this befor should I be worried?
In shock, please that is such BS, put your ear to the wall where you think your cat is staring at and you will hear noises. I told the vet that I have who is a really good friend, she said WTF are all of you people on . . .in shock yeah right. As for a human to sit and stare at the wall just after coming out of Anesthesia, I would consider that retarded.
DanBurita answered this one correctly, that mice maybe in your walls, they (cats)have better hearing than us humans and can hear them scurying inside the wall and another reason is cats can see spirits. I see spirits-yes that would be dead people who have died. ;)
Antethesia affects every animal (and every person) differentely…give him a few days for all the effects to wear off. If he still hasn’t snapped out of it, then ask the Vet about it…

your cat could be ill, or maybe depressed, or maybe sour. give your cat a little time, and if this is how she acts in the future bring her to the closest vet, possible and they may be able to help you :D
your cat is still in shock from getting neutered give the cat time he will come around
