I assume that the little bars in the bottom left corner of Limewire do not all turn green when you open the program???
If so, it is usually because your firewall is blocking Limewire. You have to access your Firewall and just tell it to allow your Limewire program to connect. It usually takes seconds.
If you are using a wireless internet connection, you also need to tell your modem to allow your computer to connect to Limewire.
Cant advise further as I dont know what modem or firewall you have

I know for ares - go control panel choose your internet speed than click connect
try un installing limewire then downloading it again, it’sdone it to me a few times and thats always worked for me (: erin x
