Why does my 10 month old only want the real thing?

my blue-eyed angel Asked by cpstaicu 2 months ago, 8 answers.

What is it about my son that he only wants to play with ''real'' cellphones, laptops, the remote control, etc etc. we have bought him his own play play cell phone and laptop to hopefully get him interested in those without wrecking ours!! its a complete nightmare, he just shouts and cries if I take it away, but I never back down. hopefully its just a stage he'll grow out of!!
Any mothers with the same issue??!!

Thanks

He wants to play with the 'real one' because it's the one you have. If you use it, it must be fun!

Play with his toy cellphone for a while, and he'll probably want it.

kids are smart. They realize that you don't use the play phones, remotes, etc. They want to be like you!! We gave our daughter my wifes old cell when she got a new one. She liked it for like a day then she knew we didn't use it so she didn't want it. Dont worry it gets better!

well, I know it sounds crazy, but your son was born in generation X. This gereration is forwarded to technology. Your son was probably born knowing what a 'real one' was.

My daughter is 17 months and just shorted out my cell. She's teething. It's normal. The only thing you can do is find a few high surfaces to keep your destroyable electronics on. Our remotes live on the back ledge of the couch. Our phones stay on the counter.

I don't have any children, because I'm just a teenager, but I read that cellphones/laptops can give babues tumors because their skulls aren't very thick yet. They can still give adults tumors too, but we would have to be on them like 24/7. Also, diet soda has this weird thing in it that makes it diet, and it can give you tumors and a lot of other things as well.
