Why does God challenge me with the impossible?

My boyfriend has advanced liver disease and also possible pancreatic cancer. He stays confused a lot and I have to be on top of him when he’s awake as he is like a 2 year old in a adult body. I feel God is throwing a challenge at me and sometimes I feel like it is impossible to handle this and 2 teenagers by myself.

Answer #1

God is testing your faith and belief in him. He won’t give you or put you through a challenge that you can’t conquer. Many times I have questioned why I go through certain things. I’m disabled and I’m faced with many obstacles on a daily basis but I don’t worry or complain anymore because I know God has a purpose and a plan for me. Just remember this God won’t take you to something he can’t take you through,

This really is the most beautiful explanation of death I’ve ever heard. Had to send it on to my family and friends.

    []

    ~DEATH~
;WHAT A WONDERFUL WAY TO EXPLAIN IT ..

A sick man turned to his doctor as he was preparing to

Leave the examination room and said,

'Doctor, I am afraid to die.

Tell me what lies on the other side.'

Very quietly, the doctor said, 'I don't know.'

    'You don't know? You're, a Christian man,

And don't know what's on the other side?'

    The doctor was holding the handle of the door;

On the other side came a sound of scratching and whining,

And as he opened the door, a dog sprang into the room

And leaped on him with an eager show of gladness.

Turning to the patient, the doctor said,

    'Did you notice my dog?

He's never been in this room before.

He didn't know what was inside.

He knew nothing except that his master was here,

And when the door opened, he sprang in without fear.

I know little of what is on the other side of death,

But I do know one thing...

I know my Master is there and that is enough.'

    []

May today there be peace within you.

May you trust God that you are exactly

Where you are meant to be.

I believe that friends are quiet angels

Who lift us to our feet when our wings

Have trouble remembering how to fly.

Sometimes that is how it is. Sometimes it does seem like it’s inpossible to go trough it but believe me, he knows that you will get trough it because he gave you that obstacle for a reason. Believe me, to some people he just gives way too much. But he knows you’ll pull trough.

Answer #6

God never gives you “impossible” tasks. He gives you challenges he knows you are able to overcome. We may never, in this life, learn why God permits us to suffer, nor ever, on this earth, realize the “good” that comes out of it. We may not comprehend that this problem we live through bring about a deep encounter with God. We do need to realize that God gives us trials and problems with our life here on earth. If you are a true believer and have faith in God then ask yourself, “Do I a person of faith respond to the tragedies and joys that come to his life by a firm trust in God?” We don’t know why God takes away the ones we love and causes us pain. Maybe he knows that you are a strong enough person to overcome this obstacle. He knows you are a strong willed human being. For you were created by him, and he is the one who will help you through it. Be Strong! :) I hope everything turns out for the better. I will pray for you, and have faith!

The caregiver sometimes suffers more than the patient. Handling regular life, taking care of a terminal loved one and your children…you are bound to feel exhausted, frustrated and at times need to ask ‘why me’. I have been there. My husband was terminal and I was raising a preteen. You will survive this. You will do your best…some days you will do better than others…but it all balances. You have teenagers, are they helping with the housework? meals? If not, ask for their help. Ask for the help of friends. Maybe they could stay with him for an hour so that every now and then you can ‘get away’ and have some time, alone. You have to ask because many want to help but do not know what to say or what you need, so ask. If you attend church, ask the pastor for help. The pastor might arrange for meals to be delivered. If your boyfriend is on hospice (and it sounds as if he should be) ask the hospice for some ideas. Believe me…people WANT to help and you should allow them the opportunity. They will feel better and you will also. You can do this. You just need help.

Answer #8

This isn’t an impossible challenge. Through Christ, all things are possible! All you can do is surrender this situation to God and pray that he heals your boyfriend. You may need to ask your teenagers for help to relieve the stress your flesh feels, but keep your heart with God, and I know you all will come through!

Answer #9

I’m sorry you and your loved ones are going through this. There really is no answer to your question.

Answer #10

We may not understand why things happen but we can always know that GOD is here and HE loves us when you feel like you’re being faced with the impossible, sometimes it’s just that you’re going through a period of trials like Job and sometimes GOD just wants us to remember that HE is always present and HE will help, so give it to GOD and do your best, I’m praying for you.

Answer #11

If God put you to it, hell bring you through it :)

1 Corinthians 10:13 (The Message)

13No test or temptation that comes your way is beyond the course of what others have had to face. All you need to remember is that God will never let you down; he’ll never let you be pushed past your limit; he’ll always be there to help you come through it.

Keep your head up and rely on God. Ill pray for you!

Answer #12

God uses suffering as a tool to bring people closer to him. A lot of great things in the lives of many have also been directly influenced by past tragedies or suffering. As mentioned above: “Through God, nothing is Impossible.” Your answers lie in the good book.

Answer #13

Ahh, thats is a really nice story! where did you get it?

Answer #14
