Why does everyone think so horribly of abortion?

Its the woman's choice, and its not horrible. You dont know the circumstances that those young women are put threw and if it comes to the point where its putting her life in danger, (sickness, death from birth, mental trauma) then she should be able to go threw with it. Who are YOU to judge that?

Because people morally have a problem with "killing life"
but ok at 2 months there is a heartbeat... the burger you just ate had a heartbeat once too. You kill ""life"" all the time. Morally it's ok to squash bugs, cut down trees and slaughter cows?
So many then will argue it isn't just because you are ""killing life"" but that THAT life had the potential to be a ""human life"" . Well sperm has the potential to be a human life too... is a male disregarding his ejaculate murdering? Or even that couple that were going to have sex but then decided not to... there was ""potential"" there too.

If abortion were made illegal, it would be killing the women instead. More low income women would seek out illegal and unsafe abortion methods that are dangerous.It would have no effect on the high income woman... she can easily travel to another country for the medical procedures she is looking for.

I don't believe in abortion as a ""birth control option"" - I believe it should be the result of contraceptives failing or a result of certain circumstances like rape.
If we weren't so stubborn with giving young adults contraceptives, we would have less abortions. We should look towards PREVENTION.

Im not judging you, I'm disagreeing with the fact that you think you can choose for another person.

People are weird and want everyones opinion heard. They feel the unborn child has a right to be born but they seem to forget that the women has the right to decide if that child should be born. Hey, if someone is in a position were abortion is an option, obviously their situation can't be too hot and the child may be better not even being born. People need to back up and say, hey...having an abortion is YOUR choice so we'll have the option out there and if you don't like it, guess what??? You DON'T have to have one!!!

I agree with you. I don't think it's anyone's business, especially the governments, to choose what medical procedures are available to the public.

I believe a lot of people are against it because of the fact that most women don't find out their pregnant until there at least 2 months or further along. By that time the baby inside of you has a beating heart. It's likes murder. Your killing someone w/ a beating heart. I personally would never get an abortion, but, I'm pro-choice.

An innocent life is snuffed out - no choice - no voice - never given the chance to experience joy, sadness, make memories, have a family, etc - a person decided it was time to die, not God.

I, personally, am against it unless you know the baby is going to have a serious disabilty but otherwise it's inhumane! Your killing human life! Human life that has feelings and a lot of the functions of a baby! Would you kill a baby? Thought not, well, that's what abortion is! Also you should look up images of abortion...I once got a email sent to me and seriously it was horrible! Made me almost vomitt and I don't vomitt unles I'm ill! Also woman can experience nasty syptoms e.g. extreme nausea and vomitting, headaches etc. And often woman experience severe depression. Anyway there are so many options these days like adoption, condoms, the pill, millions of other contraceptive devices and the morning after pill. To be honest if your going to have sex at least be responsible enough to wear a condom or make the man wear a condom! Oh and by the way...Human Rights: EVERYONE has the right to live!
But, like I said, this is my opinion...that I just happen to feel pretty strongly on.

ok I'm not saying that I'm against or for abortion and yes I agree with you that it is the woman's choice to keep the baby or not...but the reason people are so opposed to women getting abortions is that they think that they're killing innocent babies...the baby isnt getting a chance to live and it did nothing wrong so why kill it...give it a chance to live right? people think that they should have a chance to live and just...I don't know what the word I'm looking for is.
But different people think different things about it...

Well, why can't they just have the baby and put it in adoption? Having an abortion is like stealing the life away from your creation before it was even made. Everyone deserves the joy of life, they shouldn't be killed because of the mother's mistake.

Why should a ""mother"" be ""punished"" for her ""mistake"" ? Perhaps the contraceptives were not available to her and perhaps she was uneducated about sex. Then, wouldn't that be a failure of our society? So why, in the end, should she pay for our society's ignorance towards early sex ed and contraceptive aid?

Also... I hope every single person against abortion is adopting when they want a child.

Next time you see an abortion protest - ""Abortion kills, choose life -Adopt!"" go ask them how many of them have or plan to adopt. You'll get some pretty lame answers err should I say excuses.

ITS HORRIBLE. IF you are OK WITH IT, you GOT SERIUOS ISSUES. it is horrible as long as its heart is beating, it should still be alive. once the mom has the baby, she can give it away to foster care.
