Why do I think I'm fat when I'm skinny?

Ever since I was little I was miss skinny minni
then after 6th grade I gained like 3 pounds but you couldnt tell.
after I got my braces on I lost a lot of weight (7 pounds) in the dr.s veiw
I cant fite into any of my clothes because ther too big.
& I know I'm skinny bcause everyone tells me I am but for some odd reason I feel like I'm fat and I dont knwhow to lose the weight, I dont want to starve myself but theres nothing else.

Well, don't go diagnosing yourself... that just makes things worse. First off, if you can accept what people are saying (you are skinny) - you do not have anorexia. You just have the typical teenage girl body image.

Girls and women of all ages are conditioned to hate and abuse their bodies. It makes me so sad to hear that beautiful young girls would rather hate than love themselves. Im 34 and after having children, I have stretch marks all over my body, saggy breasts and a very wobbly tummy but you know what? It doesn't stop me being a good mother, sister, daughter, wife, aunty or friend. If you believe that the life you lead is dependant on the way that your body looks then you have many years of self torture ahead of you. My family love me, Im gr8 at my job and I wake up smiling every day. life is good sugar so stop obssesing about the pounds and the calories becos before you know it, life will have passed you bye and all you'll have to show for it is a lifetime of self hatred. Love yourself and the world will love you.
