Why are republicas so hated

Why do people hate republicans so much. there not evil or baby killers there just people with a different view point. why do people treat them like there diseased or retarded and take the biggest offence to them and completely tune them out?

I don't hate them at all,my mom does for some reason she says that they care about only the money,that's her not me. I respect them but the only republican I don't respect is California's Governor,reason is cause he seriously screwed California up,the state would be better off with a woman for a change,not to be sexist.

My mom said he was only elected cause he was in movies and everybody loved him,well now everybody hates him including me,I regret talking my dad into voting for him,thanks to him my mom is having a VERY hard time getting a job.

Last time I saw his face on my TV I actually through something at my TV cause he ticks me off just talking,Gay's have the right to love who they want but yet he's not looking at peoples health and life on the streets,he just doesn't see what violence weed brings.

honestley I don't care if they legalize it as long as the legalize gay marige and or fix the job market. he needs to get out of office and put in some one with a real political background that won't screw us over

Republicans and Democrats both have the same agenda. This can be proven through the Quigley Formula. The role of the opposing side must stigmatize the opposite side, but in reality, they both are saying the same thing. Republicans can only be hated by those that endure and truly believe in common interests of the opposing faction. Notice that you only have 2 choices; Republican and Democrat. Any other tertiary party that may enter the competition would have such high barriers to the primaries that it would hardly be worth the hassle of running; thus, you have 2 choices. Emotion has always been a crutch for politicians to propel a voter into making a decision, but, as I said, any other candidate (green party) would only be beating a dead horse.

I happen to admire republicans. In theory I should despise them but I hate the anti-war machine so much that I can't help but support them. When Springsteen sings an anti-war song the hypocrisy makes me sick. Millionaires propping up the system attacking it, give me a break. My favourite US President was Lyndon Johnson without doubt. In hindsight he did a lot of things badly but hindsight is wonderful. George Bush may be as revered as Abraham Lincoln someday.

I don't think people hate Republicans. It does seem, however, that Republicans come across as hateful and angry. Repubs and Dems should work to build bridges instead of continuing to burn them. A country divided...

People are uninformed...that's why. Most people who keep up with the news, politics, world events get their news from ABC, NBC and the other alphabet channels. With even a cursory analysis you can see there is an obvious bias to these news outlets and they portray Republicans as evil, money grubbing capitalists. Go to http://www.mrc.org for a daily update as to media bias.
Need to keep in mind what is right and not who is right. The great majority of people in the USA are conservative in general...that's what is right not necessarily political parties.
