He made us a war : C it didn't have to be this long...He doesn't truely care about america. Sense he seems to think that there is only one war going on...there is 2 going on. One in america and one in iraq. Honestly I dont see why we nee to fight there battle(iraq). I know its mean to say but basicly he is sending out the whole army. Strike that he is sending the whole army out

I am british and most of the brits hate him aswell, because with him getting the americans into this war in iraq, he also involved the UK, which then caused a war for us! he should have just left well enough alone and stayed out of the iraqy war!

Dear xluigix,

In my own opinion, he has lied to the country, brought us into what is likely to be another World War, made America look as if we don't know how to run our own government, and has fatigued our countries educational system to a point where even children are complaining about the standards.

Actually, he has lied, enabled his family to get rich as a result of the war, illegally spied on the American people...

and let's not forget, lowered taxes for the richest subset of the population. Why would you go & do that?

Only if you don't care about the bulk of the citizens of that country, and he's responsible for the loss of more human lives than any of the last 4 presidents before him.

Oops. I think he made a boo boo.

Don't be so dramatic. The things that made this war happen were set in motion long before Bush became president. A world war from Iraq is frankly a stupid comment. At this point we can't pull out of Iraq. The people there would never trust anyone from the west again and it would open doors for so many terrorists groups to move in and take over.

It seems strange to me that many people believe that history began the day they were born. As zmarsh stated, things in the middle east were set into motion LONG before Bush took on Iraq. You'll even find a reference to the Middle East conflit in a protest song written in 1965...Eve of Destruction. George W. won't go down as one of the greatest leaders of the US, for sure...but 100 years from now, he won't be listed as the worst, either.

Actually, it seems the press has much more to do with the liking or disliking of a national leader...just as Americans seem to like the Goverment telling they what to do and what not to do...they appreciate the press telling them who to like and who not to like...it saves time, on doing a little research, and making up their own minds.

zmarsh, I don't get it. Was it inevitable that the US send troops there? Absolutely not. And until 9/11 and Bush's PR campaign to invade, there was zero reason.

Doesn't matter if people can't get along there or not...that's NO excuse for the end result: the US government being directly responsible for millions of deaths there.
