Why am i an american patriot?

I have a 300-400 word essay due Monday, and I don't have any ideas expect free schools.

How about:
the constitution
freedom of speech
the highest GDP in the world
the country that created the internet
more high quality universities than any other country in the world (for now, anyway)
the most valuable technological companies in the world

or:
freedom of religious expression
the largest military in the world
more guns per person than any other country in the world
highest importing of oil of any country in the world
more cars per person than other countries

Etc, etc...lots of ideas in each of those. Good luck.

I would include that this country has the strongest armed forces

the great melting pot.
the home of Jazz.
I'll think of some more.

I think a reason you might be an American patriot is not just all the good things your country has, but the moral standing to want to change things that could be better.
