Who would be the best runningmate for obama or mcain?

Who would be the best running mate for Obama or MCaine?
I would like some choices for both sides.

McCaine - Condaleeza Rice (to give him the glamorous-black factor which Obama already has)

Obama - Lucy Lu (have I spelt that right?). Why? Because I love her exquisite Chinese eyes. Black guy+Chinese girl wow! What a team THAT would be. I read yesterday that Lucy is into politics. Plus, after her role in one of the Kill Bill movies she can see off the Clintons forever.

Barack should be very careful about naming Hillary. It looks like he's tempted to do it and she wants it bad. But it would screw up his presidency.

McCain- Collin Powell.

Obama- Shrek cause Obama as president is fantasy. lol

A vial of cyanide would be a great running mate for Barak H. Obama! Oh wait... you wanted a person didn't you..? lol

My mind is running blanks for the people for McCain.. and I'll tell you I'm still stumped as to how he got nominated in the first place. I liked Fred Thompson a lot. Rudy I was meh about. The mormon guy... sorry mind is drawing a blank on him right now. I liked him too.

Republicans hate the Clintons not just because they are Democrats, but because they are popular Democrats. Despite all the naysaying, an Obama/Clinton ticket would be popular among both 'liberals' and moderates.

For McCain, Rice would have appeal among Republicans, but not among moderates. She's too tainted by Bush who is very unpopular among moderates. McCain needs to pick someone who appeals to his party base (since he's more of a centrist himself) but is not associated with Bush. My guess is he'll pick a conservative governor - but not from Florida or Texas.
