Which is the best state in usa to live in weather-wise and retireme

I now live in new england, always have. but, thinking of retirement and would like to know which state has the least amount of rain and which is good for the retired person.

Also, how does arizona rank?

Florida is the top retirement state in the US. Its always very balmy and there are lots of gated retirement communities with parks and pools for its residents. And of course anywhere in Florida you are only a short way from any beach!

kittygirl, Saudi Arabia is not in the USA.

I agree with dulllikeglitter - Florida seems to be the preferred retirement spot.
