Where is the best family vacation spot in california?

Later this year, we are considering taking a break. My wife & I both work full time, and our children are in school / after care, and preschool programs for the whole of the work day. We play hard on the weekend, so over the holidays, I'm seriously considering taking some time off. As we live in California, I'd like to know: Where is the best family vacation spot in California?

Is it legoland, disneyworld, napa valley, or what? Any ideas greatly appreciated. Thanks.

disney world would be the best for you and the wife and the kids.............you'll return back to your childhood ,and be come the inner kid that you have .the kids would love it all the fun rides,and for you and the mistress there a special place for partying ,and late night staying ...theres disney charaters that babysit..but on the other hand theres thing for you and the family to do.

If your kids are all 10 and under I would def recommend Legoland -- especially for boys. I took my kids there and we had a blast- so much better than I thought- and WAY less crowded and hectic than Disneyland.. Before you go: check their hours 'because on off season they are not even open some days. Also, check for cheap tickets on Ebay or Craigslist... You can find some cheap places to stay in those hotel coupon books they usually have at Denny's.
