The tattoos that are the least painful - are any that are on fleshy meaty parts of your body where you have some body fat. Any tattoo on top of bone - is going to be more painful.

I would say from personal experience the most painful places would be the ribs or top of the foot. The least would be on the shoulder blade or on the calf muscle.

Shoulder didn't hurt much...the butt hurt most...the boob was inbetween, only getting painful when he was working close to the areole...

for me places that did not hurt- both ankles, both bicep's (one of them is full band) , between my shoulders, both shoulders,

what hurt the most- top of my foot.

and what I have been told that hurts- rib cage

back of the neck and the top or side of the foot KILL. but I got one on the back of my ankle kind of above my achillies tendon, it really wasnt that bad, and it looks awesome with heels haha. but either way its going to hurt, just get it where you want it.

I have a tat on my upper arm, did not hurt at all, I also have one on the top of my foot and the back of my neck, neither of which hurt at all. The one on my ankle hurt more than any of the 5 kids I gave birth to!
