Whats the point in homework?

What's the point in homework? Ok maybe in GCSEs or something but before that there's no point it barely teaches you anything anyway and it's a waste of time.

It doesn't have to teach you anything new to be useful.

If you ever go to university its use becomes really apparent.(if you don't work consistently you are sure to fail)
It is there so you can see where your problem areas are and helps you practice and remember the work you are currently busy with.

It's not a waste of time,that's one of the only ways you can succeed is by doing homework,homework also helps you study for tests weeks before or days before. If you don't do it,you may end up filing that class.

They don't have the time to teach you everything they need to in 7 and a half hours, that is why you get homework. If you stop doing homework, you'll probably fail and then you'll most likely start blaming them because they aren't giving you enough.

If you stop being a baby about it, you might actually see the use for it. When you get to university or do further studies, you'll have to revise the work yourself...no one gives a damn about whether you do homework or not, but if you don't do it, you fail...so it does have a purpose..to teach you discipline.
