Whats the age limit to get your own credit card?

anyone know? like so I can use one and pay for it and stuff.

well my brother has one and he is 11 I dont know the youngest but I know my brother is the yougest person I know with a credit card oo and I have one too.

Well here it's 18. If people are under 18 and they have one it's because their parents got one for them and their parents pay it for them...which means they're probably spoiled rotten.

well the reson I have mine is because our bank accounts needed to be changed and the woman at the bank said she will sign me and my sisters/bro up with a bank card, then we just had to sighn, but we aint spoiled rotten at all and it didnt cost nothing !!!

Then you mean bank card not a credit card...that's two totally different things.

why is it ? because you can buy stuff at the shops with mine and draw out money ? and cant you do that wiv a credit card?

Yeah. Do you have to pay money back later when you use the card? cause that would make it a credit card. You borrow money from a financial institution and you got to pay it back later. and you need credit to do that. People normally don't have credit until they're 18. With bank cards, it's like your own money, but in card form. When you use it, it takes the money out of your bank account that way you don't have to pay it back. It's your money...not borrowed money. Some credit cards, you can take money out with it, but it will cost you a whole lotta money later. Bank cards, of course you can take out money...did I make that confusing? lol.

I think its 18.like other people have said.if kids have one its because their parents have got them one.
