What will happen to my hair if I swim?

I swim on a swim team and got my hair dyed permanent. Well I decided to wear a cap so it don't effect my hair or nothing. And my hair still got wet. will the dye run out ot something?

no...it's permanent. it'll fade naturally. because if it doesn't...man did you get the wrong hair dye!
