What is wrong with him? why does he do this?

he never makes the 1st move to kiss me I always go up to him & start kissing him not even when he have sex he say ‘baby show me some love or ‘are you gonna show me some love. & I find this really weird because its never happened before with non on my exs they would just start on me & I found that very sexy.. but with him is like I have to go up 2 him & I don’t think I should do that. yeah, maybe once in a while but not all the time. it took him like 2months just to even hold me & kiss me & when I asked he said because hes gt respect. I really don’t know what to do anymore & I don’t wanna bring it up because I don’t want to embarrass him or anything. I dont even remember the last time he came up2 me. is like he waits 4 me to make the move:( what should I do? what is going on with him? please help?

I do like him & not because of sex..he doesnt even hold me hug or anything..ever since we met hes just never really made a move on me is frustrating because everytime I ask him if he likes me and stuff he says if he didnt like me he wouldnt be with me so am very sad & confused.x he doesnt tell me if he misses me or anything..:(
