I have a lump behind my ear on my head/neck and it's about the size of a marble.
it feels round..and it hurts to yawn and move my jaw a lot when I chew or something.
any idea what it is? should I get it checked out?

yeah you might want to get it checked not trying to scare you or anything but better safe than sry then again it could just be a tense muscle thats became a knot

You need to get that checked out. My biology class was just talking about how to check for cancer the other day. One of the places a doctor will recommend you check is behind the ear. It may or may not be as serious as cancer though. But you never know and the sooner you get it checked out the better.
Best of luck hope the lump isn't anything serious

It sounds to me like a lymphnoid.
These are located there,in the jaw,in the stomach, armpits, and upper thigh areas.
These are like storage spots for infection/Bacteria.Maybe you have a cold? Try drinking water.if it doesnt get smaller, then maybe you should see a doctor.

I agree with mrscobainx...is your neck slightly swollen at all??
I have done a little research on the lymphatic system and it sounds about like a swollen lymph node

My wife had the same thing..it was just a cyst. Go see a dermatologist, they can remove it in an office visit and then send it off for testing.
