What is a advisor and how do you become 1

Answer #1

you become one by advising well, hehe. the box below someones answer [[what this answer helpfull? yes or no]] the more people click yes for you, the better at advising you become.

you should click yes for me btw. lol

Answer #2

No, that’s not exactly true.

You become an advisor either by being invited to be one or requesting to be one (you can message editor to ask). To become an advisor you have to have good helpful advice, proper spelling and grammar for the most part, be on the site for atleast a couple of months, preferably have a picture or two of yourself and profile information so the users can get to know you better, and know the terms of use very well, etc.

If you do become an advisor, you get a shiny yellow badge, you get to help out with the site as far as deleting duplicates, deleting questions that violate the terms of use, and just helping out with the site in general.

Answer #3

I didn’t say that you needed a picture - I said it is prefered, not required.
