Hii I was just wonderin what happened on good friday..and also how did it get its name?

the greatest event of all time happened on good friday... God sent his only son Jesus down to earth... Jesus Christ walked the earth for 33 years spreading the word of God, proforming miracles, and bringing people to the father... Good Friday was in history the day where was persecuted... it was the day when God turned his face for a couple of seconds and let his son hang and die on a cross because he LOVES us so much that he wanted to give the ultimate scrafice and shed his sons blood to forgive all of our sins... I hope I helped...

Good Friday, also called Holy Friday or Great Friday, is the Friday before Easter (Easter always falls on a Sunday). It commemorates the crucifixion and death of Jesus at Calvary.
