What happends when you die?

What happends when someone dies?
what happends to their body?
their spirit?
does their angel take them to heven with God?

no one knows unless you die and come back

well since im catholic my belief is when you die god judges you and if you lived a good life you get to go to heaven but if you lived a bad life you go to burn in hell. as far as our natural body im pretty sure we just lay in the coffin lol but I really do believe our spirits go sumwhere else way better then here =)

no one really does know what happens when we die. we can only assume or make a guess based on our knowledge about such things.

when someone dies their body decays and never comes back. as for the spirit. I believe that they travel and are reincarnated into another human life; forgetting the life you had before. there may be angels but as for heaven... I don't believe in that.

as for the religions that believe if your good you go to heaven, I think that's a load of- well you get my point. fact is that people are the way they are because of their surroundings and the people in their lives that effect them the most. you can't just simply be born evil or be born good and stay that way for the rest of your life.

Ok so who would really know? The body is easy, you bury it or cremate it.
We can only hope. I myself dont want to go to heaven I want to stay around here and be a guardian angel. I would give my soul up to be able to stay here and help others. I do believe gaurdian angels exists.
Is there a heaven??? We can only hope but think about it. If you kill yourself you know you go to hell. People hope there is heaven but believe there is hell. WHY?
Me I believe there is heaven and cant figure where hell is if it is down in our earth?

...too bad... NOBODY knows, so nobody can tell you. People can only speculate, or tell you what the BELIEVE. You'll know when you die... or maybe not...

Christians are divided on this question, some say, according to certain verses that the spirit goes to be with the Lord, one scripture says, To be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord,

Jesus, while on the cross, said to the thief, who repented, this day, you will be with me in paradise.

Another scripture says, you sleep while in the grave,

another one talks about a holding place for the righteous dead, and it is called Abrahams bosom, while the holding place for the unrightous dead is called Gehenna, or Hell, or a few other terminologies, but, meaning the same place.

well.. when you die untimely ... then your spirit is still on earth.. because, it isnt your time!!! u'll have to wait your judgement until the end of the world... you will feel years goes on slowly, if your bad... if your good.. you will feel years has gone so fast in a flash.. that you could go to heaven... it depends on what you did when your still alive!!!

Many people say you can never know what death is like while you are alive, because it's something that cannot be experieneced and then recalled later in the physical realm.

However, I believe we all know what it's like to be dead, because we were dead before we were born. True death can only be defined as a lack of existence in some form or another, and as you didn't exist before birth, you were technically dead.

So... it's really nothing to be afraid of, do you think back on the time before you were born and cower with fear? Of course not, because you have no memory of that time because you did not have a physical mind to store your experiences or create thought. It's much akin to being unconscious if you've ever had anesthetic.

If you don't exist, then you are nothing. And it is clear that nothing and everything are different reflections of the same concept.

I suppose the real question behind this, is do people have a spirit/soul or not. If so, then you would still exist in one form, but your senses would be completely different and your new world would be nothing like this one. Maybe you would complete another cycle and be reborn into a new physical consciousness or maybe you would simply repeat the cycle and perhaps you would be reborn yourself all over again, stuck in the same loop in time forever, never knowning that you had just died.

Some Bhuddists believe you goto a place where you can see two lovers consumed with desire, copulating with each other and that you can pick the couple you want to be born unto, if you have the nessecary wisdom to be aware of what is happening after death. This is called Hearing in the Intermediate State I beleive. It's kind of a nice thought I think.
