What happends to people who kill them selfs?

What do you people think happends to people who kill them salfs? Do they becom ghousts do they go to hell or what? If a person had a very good reason to kill them self do you think god will forgive that person and let them in to haven?

 
There, generally, are no good reasons to kill yourself. The only exception might be a person who is terminally ill and in uncontrollable pain.

I, personally, don't think God judges us by our actions. I think that it is we, ourselves, who judge us when in between incarnations.

Gosh that's a tough question. I believe that you would probably go to hell for killing yourself because Jesus was sacrificed for our sins. (If you believe in that) No one really knows if God can forgive you for that after you die but if it says you go to hell in the bible for that I would have to believe it.

well me my self I beilve that the soul or the spirit that controls the body and the mind will go no were but be deleted back to noting ness like the is before life.

but in a relious christian and must other reliegons the god or the main guy at the top all way say in most of the bible or the karan (which is the arabic bible) says that life is a test to determen if you will go to heaven or hell and on on the day of judgment day that decision will be made.

so I think of that theory off that you die become a ghoust roam around for a bit and wait for judgment day which could be any day may be each person have a unique judgment day.

And if this is a question to fin out what would hapen to your self if you killed your self. then I tell you not to try a stuped thing in god eyes you would of failed his test and in reality you will be waisting a life that can give more life.

Nothing happens to them. they just die and stay dead, like everyone else.

other cultures speak differently of suicide than we do here in the states.
ancient japan has a very different view of it.
as did the native americans.
and many others.

you die- you hurt everyone around you (maybe trigger someone elses suicide) you get put in the ground- no heaven, no hell. just recycling -body and spirit

I personally think it is the most SELFISH act anyone can commit..

If there's a God, do I honestly believe an all powerful being would choose to punish someone for all eternity because they couldnt stand the pain anymore? (as to anyone who hasnt been in that pain, how would you know what the meaning of selfish is...) No... I dont think they go to hell

Well if your a christian you believe that they go to hell. They would go to hell because the ten camadments say thou shall not kill. Thats one of the biggest as og the other nine, they are easily forgiven when you commit those. But yes once you die you do go to hell.

Nothing different to anyone else: You die, you're dead, that's it. Which makes it all the more tragic that they ended their lives (though less so than eternal torture by a malevolent god who loves you, really).

Shame. suicide is really something else. If I had to kill myself I would haunt the people who drove me to do it!

I agree with baldwinwolf. Here in the states we see suicide as a horrable thing, and many times in todays world it is.
But in acient Japan, for example, suicide was considered hornable under the right circumestance.

I think, like all of us, their spirit energy is mixed and blended with other ones and froms new souls.

I don't believe in God or hell. Suicide isn't the answer to problems though. Its a permenate solution to a temperary problem. you will always leave someone that will be caused pain by yur actions.

To those saying that Christianity teaches you go to hell for suicide, consider that according to Jesus, the *only* unforgivable sin is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. Since that's the *only* unforgivable sin, that necessary implies that suicide is forgivable.

As you can see from above...what happens after a suicide all depends on a personal belief system...no answer is any better than the next. No one knows what happens to anybody when they die...be it by their own hand, another person's hand, or natural causes.

The only thing I do know about suicide is...it's a permanent solution to a temporary problem...so if there's any chance that you're talking about yourself, or someone close to you...understand that whatever is going on now, is sure to pass...all things do!

I think that if you did kill yourself, which honestly you shouldnt there is no good reason to things really do get better in the end it just takes time, but anyway lol I think you would stand before god and he would make that decision based on how you lived your life and if you truely had him in your heart. I hope you arent thinking of killing yourself though, because if you are you need to talk to someone. like I said the pain will disapear and your life will get good just pray about it and give it time. I think we die. Then that's it. We stay dead. We don't do anything else, we are dead.

The Bible clearly states that taking a man's life is sin and the result will be hell. When you commit suicide you are taking a man's life therefore it is a sin and will result in hell. As far as forgiveness is concerned you will be forgiven for all sins except for speaking against the Holy Spirit. But what everyone misses is that you will be forgiven of any sin only if you are repentant. I guess you will not be able repent after you die. So the sin of suicide will not be forgiven.

augustine72, that is a false statement. Suicide is never mentioned in the Bible as being a sinful act. Suicide is brought up repeatedly in the OT and never once is it condemned by God. Even Paul, at one point, contemplates taking his life in order to be with God, choosing rather to stay. If it was a mortal sin, I doubt his character would have been considering it as a viable option. Your theory on the sin of suicide not being forgiven is your own theory, one shared by some church traditions. But it is NOT found in the Bible.

Nowhere. Look it up. you wont find it.
in facet, there is a story in the bible of a great king, his castle had been conquered, his people slain, and he holed up in his room.
In his shame, he could no longer bear to live, and killed himself.
now it does not say in this passage anywhere that he went to hell.

And im not saying that I think it is okay. it hurts the ones you love,

But dont use the point : it says so in the bible. it does not.

Well if you believe in reincarnation , you would basically be reverted into another body and start over again.

The simple fact that everybody is giving you different answer only show that no one really know what happen.

I just believe in reincarnation because we are aware of our own lives and can acknowledge that. Being aware of our existence , a soul has to be the answer to our awareness.
