when I was about 13 or 14 years old my mom was hooked on meth.
as a child I had to raise her and try to get her off drugs, when she didnt have any she would take a bunch of pills everyday she would get all the medicane in the house and put it in this HUGE bowl and lay on the sofa and grab a hand full of pills, and it would make her pass out if she woke up and didnt die she would proceed to do the same thing, I just sat upstairs and watched the whole thing...
again she had taken 50 zanex's yes 50 (you cant die off xanex) and she turned on her car in the garage and passed out in the back of it... that night (she had done it in the morning)
well my grandpa had gotten a call from my moms house?
it was her voice saying 'better hurry up the job is about to be done'
(we all knew she was sucidal) so my grandpa took off work called the cops and rushed over there...
the peramedicts said she couldnt have called my grandpa shes been passed out for 8 hours or more... and the phone was up stairs, there was no way my mom could of walked up stairs and called my grandpa and came back down and had enough time to pass out...

I think it was an angel or god, because now my mom of 39 had a beautiful baby boy and shes off drugs clean and the best person in my life. I believe theres a reason why god wouldnt let her die, my baby brother...

thats my experiance.

I am the daughter of a medicine man, I lived my whole life in fear of the spirits that were around my family. to make it short. I ask God to prove him self and take away my fear. that night I tested him and walked in the dark all the way down to the beach and back. I use to have crawly creepy feelings always in the dark. that night there was none. then I knew He was who He said He was, and I have lived for Him ever since and He never fails me. He doesn't do everything I want Him to do. but I am never alone. I have what I need but not always what I want. since they are two different things. He is my protector. I no longer serve the spirits from the past who only give fear.

ilovehim_x33x - Awesome testimony !!

I would imagine that someone would have a mighty hard time trying to convince you that there is no God, right??

God bless you...

pipet - Another Awesome testimony... Praise God !!!

piker187 - I would say that someone did a lot of praying for you, or God has a call on your life one. God be with you.

marinescorps862 - we have a Christian friend, that is a preacher, he served in Vietnam, he was in a foxhole, he was saved, and had the Holy Spirit, the spirit spoke to him, and said, 'Don't move', he did, and he was shot.

It was not fatal, but, he will never forget the incident.

Yes silverwings, No one has been able to turn me around. even with abuse in the church. God just asks me who are you serving them or me and that is my answer. He is the reason for my continued faith in my walk.

Thank you so much, but after all the church is full of people and where there are people there will be problems. I have had to out grow a lot of things. and thats just what it did was help me to grow. He has carried me thru it all.

I have never had any. That is why I am certain that 'god' does not exist.

jaceb -Seek & ye shall find, knock and the door shall be opened unto you.

God is no respector of persons, what he does for one, he wil do for all.

He does however, deal with each of us individually.

But, that is what is so awesome about him, how very individual he is.

I've had no experience with God. I prayed and begged and cried for over ten years and never got a response. As I matured and became more educated, I realized that there was no scientific evidence for any gods so now I'm not surprised.

I appreciate the powerful stories others have shared but I simply have no such story.

Eleni, I am sorry that things happened the way they did in your life. I can't begin to understand the why's or wherefores, of what has happened. I would love to talk to you more about it, if you would want to funmail me. Maybe we could gain more understanding talking about it.

I do also understand that there are multitudes of people who follow Christ and his teachings, that have never had a personal experience with him.

My hat is off to them, as this is harder, than having an actual experience. Many follow Christ, thru faith alone, in his promises. And that is a very good thing.

Some have had personal experiences. These are not required to be a Christian. They are icing on the cake, so to speak. However, they carry their own burden.

When one comes in contact with the supernatural, he is then opened up to both good and bad, influences, and it requires a great deal of perserverance to keep the bad at bay.

If you would like to make a post sharing what has happened in your life, we will all try to help you, to gain understanding and to pray with you.

We love you & God loves you more. (((Hugs)))

jaceb, geriann ,eleni, lll, I am going to start praying for you, and asking for prayer for you, that you would come to know God thru the power of his spirit.

And I ask other Christians to join me in this prayer, in fact, if it is ok with you, I would like to make a post asking for this very thing.

Yes I will join in prayer for that people are all different and each has a different experience because God is a personal God and He speaks to us the way He knows we will understand. I will put you all on my pray list

When will people learn that 'God' doesn't have anything to do with these so called 'experiences', and they have other explanations, or chance? It's all psychological.

Just becaouse it hasn't happened to you doesn't make it falsi

that makes god unfair, then, any way I wouldn't be fooled by these experiences, all it takes is thinking with logic and outside the box.
