I don't think either quote is very good, but the second one is just atrocious. It's pointless, and downright stupid.

The first one isn't great either, because not only is it not very profound, it's implying that everyone has to find beauty in things, which cheapens beauty. There ARE things that are not beautiful to me, but that certainly does not make me stupid--it makes me aesthetically incompatible with the person/car/tree/whatever in question.
