Hello, another poem here, and it's called Discovery.

Love when I hear my spine crack
As you put your arms around me.

Love when I’m facedown in the mud
With your palm on the back of my neck.

God, it’s wonderful.
I’ve got a scalpel in my bag
And you’re probably a little familiar with human anatomy
Start small, but open me up wide
You can probably learn at least
A little something
By peeking around my insides

I’ve got a map written on the underside of my skin--
It’s in a language I’ve forgotten.
Tell me where I‘m from, lover.

I really like that
it kind of makes me think of how difficult it is to love
that you have to get under someones skin first
and look past the outside
thats just me though
