Religion is praising and honoring God, from whom ALL our blessings flow - acknowledged or not - I'm glad to know I have a home in Heaven because of the sacrifice Jesus Christ made for me !!

If you can ever come to know the God behind the religion, you will never be the same again. It is his desire to be in relationship with his children, and when we seek him with a whole heart, we will find him. He wants you to know that he is real, and that he is a rewarder of those that seek him. When you go to his word, pray before you do, asking him to reveal himself to you, he will, if you are earnest with him, and mean it with all your heart. You see, he can read our heart, he knows what we think, and why, he knows how many hairs are on your head, and when a sparrow falls. Seek and ye shall find, knock and the door shall be opened unto you.

To me, 'religion' means the things we do to try to get close to God - any form of ritual, worship etc.

My 'faith', which to me is different from 'religion', is about how God came close to us, in Jesus. To express our love and thankfulness, we use religious styles and forms of worship.

But to me, the big thing is the Faith, not the religion. It's pretty easy to DO RELIGION and avoid God. The people here are answering in faith, I'd say. If they were talking about which church they go to and what songs they sing and what rituals they do, they would be talking about Religion.

ALL religions except one are man-made and fake. They are useless for your souls' salvation. They are a complete waste of time and are nothing but going thru the motions with rituals, traditions. Usually praying to anyone other than Jesus who holds the key to our life or death, and is the ONLY WAY that you may be saved. Christianity is the only true religion, which is more than religion. It's a Relationship. Jesus is the one and only one who hung on the cross to save us from our sins. No other is able to save you.
