Repetition is the key to learning a new language. Write the vocabulary word in French on a piece of paper, and next to it, write the English translation. Also, say the French word and the English word. Do this about 20 times for each word you have to learn.
Then do it in reverse. Write the English translation first and the French word 2nd. Say them out loud as well. Do this about 20 times.
In regards to learning a new language, I think the Rosetta Stone approach really is best. That won't help you pass your test though.

What are some good ways to study?
I'm having a french test soon, and I have NO idea about any of it.
I pay attention in class and stuff, but its just not clicking at all!
I don't know how many times I've tried to understand other languages and failed.
I don't even know the simple...
stuff.. It's hopeless and I'm positive I'm going to flunk this test for sure!
Does anyone know any good ways to study and learn quickly? I don't know how to memorize and learn all this stuff!
