What are some good tips to write my speech?

Okay, I asked a question about what should I write my speech on? Well I chose to write about how the television is a bad influence on kids. Does anyone have some good things I could add into my speech? (And I'm not saying EVERY tv show is bad for younger kids, but I am saying that a lot of the stupid shows are.)

well don't be nervous when you present it and put reasons why television is bad for younge kids!
like because they get caught up in an episode and don't do homework!
and that it's a proven fact that tv turns your brain into mush!!

let them add a comment bout tv, and let them answer if they THINK it's bad for them or not!!

Step 7:
Add support to each point using statistics, facts, examples, anecdotes, quotations or other supporting material.

Step 8:
Link your introduction, points and conclusions together with smooth transitions.

Step 9:
Write a conclusion that summarizes each of your points, restates your main purpose and leaves the audience with a lasting impression.
