What are some good tips to help me with my studies?

Right now I would like to bring my science grade up another notch, considering I have a b, and I was wondering if you had any tips on studying other than reading right out of the textbook.

I dont know if you have tried this..but write everything out over and over and over again instead of reading it over and over again..my parents told me 2 do that and I idident want to but I tried it anyways and I've been doing well ever since than.
