That's because... diets are unnatural. You shouldn't go on a diet thinking you will be off one someday; you should start making lifestyle changes.
People who go on a diet rarely - if ever - keep off the weight they've lost once they start eating normally. If you want to lose weight permanently, you have to change your eating habits and maintaining a high level of physical activity PERMANENTLY. This is why you should be realistic and start slow.
That's right, you need to change the way you eat. Start by reducing your carb & protein portion sizes, drink plenty of water throughout the day and exercise. Don't eat the boring salad everyday, but make your meals more creative with lots of vegetables. Don't weigh yourself all the time. Go by your pants and not the scale. When your pants start to feel loose, well, your losing. I brush my teeth a lot throughout the day because I don't like to eat after brushing. So when I get the urge to eat betwee meals, I just brush.

What are some good tips for weight loss?
I really suck at sticking to my diet. So I just want some good tips on how to stay on it. Thanks!
