Weak prayers

I dont know why...But I try so hard to pray for something just like others do...but Im having a hard time to pray because I dont know if god really exist or not to me..I dont know what to believe..

I believe that the Lord exists. ^_^

Praying is really just like, you talking to God. Have a heart-to-heart with him... Really try. It could be life-altering. Literally. ^_^ I hope that you strengthen your relationship with Him... God Bless!

so when you start to pray at first dray ask god to help you understand him better. don't ask for things concerning you so much, just ask him to help you find him. start to read the bible, it seems really boring and long and what not but there are some really interesting stories in there and you wont regret it.
sometimes I wonder the same thing and the way I see it is I know there is a higher being of some sort, and weather there is one or five hundred of them I am praising them all a little bit by praying

Thank You for having common sense that there is a GOD.When I pray,I make sure that it's genuine.I talk to GOD like he's my friend...well he is but you know what I mean.GOD knows everything and you should never doubt that he isn't there.He's everywhere.He's spirit.Some stupid people think that their alarm clocks wake them up or when people tap them they wake up but if GOD calls you home,your alarm clock can ring as loud as it wants to but you will not get up.My advice to you sweetie,is just to honor and obey him and always have faith in him.GOD may not be there right when you want him but he's always on time.TRUST

The problem you have is one that is widespread. I would wager that most believers have serious doubt but just don't want to admit it to themselves out of fear of the consequences of those doubts being true.

The only right way to decide if there is a god or not is to approach the subject of god just like you would any other point of fact. Look for arguments and evidence that contradict the idea, and see how strong they are. Then look for arguments that support it and see how strong those are.

You have to give your whole heart to God! When you pray, only focus on him. Don't think of anything else.

My brother God does not work they way it is commonly thought that He does. The problem you are facing is one that many people have faced and many have been lead some to become atheists because of this. The real problem is the lack of understanding how things work. Let us see.

1. First of all God is not a big daddy sitting on top to give you whatever you ask for. He is our Creator and redeemer. He should be treated with atmost respect. What would you when you walk into the the cabin of the CEO of your company? Would you seek to respect him and please him or would you straight away start seeking your self interest? So first of all you need to understand God and find how you can please Him.

2. For some people prayer means asking. The moment they sit down to pray the start to ask for things that they need, solution for their problem etc. It is when you ask that you will expect a results and when you don't get any you start to wonder. Prayer is not... asking. Prayer is just speaking to God. Just having a communication with him. Then what about those things that you need? The LORD already knows what you need and will give you when you start communicating with him.

3. No asking does not mean that you have completely ignore you needs and problem. You can while talking to your Father present to Him your problems, but you should also be prepared to accept His response. The difference between asking and presenting is that when you ask you are actually presenting the solution to God. For example, suppose I am in a great debt. I pray to Lord to give me money in some way to rid myself from the debt. Then I am telling the Lord my problem debt and also suggesting the solution give me money. If I do this I would be so busy looking for the solution that I suggested that I will miss some other solution that He is offering me. The Lord chooses the kind of solution that He this is the best for us. We need to look out for any solution that he might give us. We need to accept any solution that He provides. Sometimes He might think it best not to provide a solution for a time. We need to accept that also.

I suggest that you make such a prayer and just be observant. I assure you, that you will have see his grace in your life.

and if your praying to god then that seems as if you trust him or even if your praying to budda its just a matter of self trust and worship
