Ways to not be allergic to a cat?

blah blah blah Asked by broadwaystar101 9 months ago, 5 answers.

Is there some way or medicine I can take so I am not allergic to cats? I am not very badly allergic, but my eyes get watery and swollen and my nose gets stuffy whenever I am around a cat. But this is a problem because lots of my friends have cats. Is there anything I can do?

Well, any over-the-conter allergy medication will help that. If you want a prescription, ask your doctor. :-)

Vaccum/sweep the floors and keep the cat out of what ever rooms that you are going to be in a hour before you enter the house.

I was allergic to my cat when I first took him in as a stray, but over the years I've became immune to it. How cool is that!

People aren't actually allergic to fur, its SKIN CELLS they shed. So sweep, vaccuum, mop, dust, change your furnace and AC filters, wash clothes every day, clean the cats "area", clean in and under the couch, and take an anti-hystamine! Or better yet, get a maid, hold your breathe, and love your feline!
